As someone who also started their building company under the traditional contracting format, Carlos immediately recognised the benefits of the Buld4Cost system when he saw it.

"The lack of cash flow and high overheads under the traditional contracting system meant these additional overhead costs had to be passed onto my customers," said Carlos. "Build4Cost changed all that."

Carlos tried the forerunner of the Build4Cost System developed by Peter in 2005, and found that all the shackles of traditional contracting fell away, making him more competitive, and providing an open and transparent way of contracting that truly benefitted customers.

"I realised the massive advantages for all parties should be shared, so I joined forces with Peter to form Build4Cost," said Carlos.

Together, they have developed a full Build4Cost "Business System for Builders" with the view of changing the way building is done - builder by builder.
